How to Order a Notebook LCD
|
Step 1: Collect Notebook Screen Information
In order to determine the correct notebook screen that you need, we ask that you collect some information. You may place an order for a notebook screen in two different ways: 1) by notebook model or by 2) part number.
To Order by Notebook Model:
You can find your notebook model on the plastic bezel surrounding your notebook screen or near your keyboard. If you cannot locate your notebook model in either of the two locations above alternatively you can look underneath your notebook.
Please provide the following:
- Notebook brand and model
- Resolution of your notebook screen
- Size of your notebook screen (measured diagonally)
- Notebook screen surface: Glossy or Matte
Notebook screen surface is either glossy or matte. An easy way to determine the surface of your notebook screen is to turn your notebook off and look at the notebook screen. If you can see your reflection, you have a glossy notebook screen. If you cannot see your reflection, you have a matte notebook screen.
To Order by Part Number:
You'll need to remove your screen in order to find the screen manufacturer's part number on the back of the notebook screen.
- Remove your notebook screen. Please click here for more detailed notebook screen removal instructions.
- Locate the screen manufacturer's label on the back of the screen. The manufacturer's label should look similar to these examples.
- Refer to the table below to help you determine the screen manufacturer's part number located on the screen manufacturer's label.

Then, please provide the following:
- Notebook screen manufacturer's part number
- Surface: Glossy or Matte
- Brand of your notebook model
Step 2: Product Search
Once you have collected the information required in step 1 to place an order, type either your notebook model or notebook screen part number into the product search box at the top of the LCDtec BV webpage and click search. The product search will display the "Search" results which most closely match your search request.
Choose the item that best matches the item you searched for. If you are ordering by notebook model, please make sure to choose the correct size, resolution and screen surface.
Step 3: Contact Us
To confirm availability of a replacement notebook screen for your particular notebook model, please contact us either by telephone, email or our live chat option:
Step 4: Ordering
Once we have confirmed availability of a replacement notebook screen for your notebook model. Our sales associates will provide you with the price, shipping fee and payment instructions.

Step 5: Processing and Dispatch
After LCDtec BV has received payment, products will be processed and dispatched either the same day or the next business day. Please note that orders placed over weekends, holidays or after normal business hours will be dispatched the next business day.
Once an item is dispatched, LCDtec BV will email our customers the shipping tracking information.
